Work week

Monday and Tuesday might be 'cabin workout' days because of my work schedule. There simply might not be time to go to the gym/helicopter deck.
Sunday was a rest day. I had to rest. Long powernap after breakfast. Exactly what I needed!! 
We'll see how things work out.

HIT @ helicopter deck

The helicopter deck and HIT-inspired short and sweet workouts are my best friends this work week!
Today's set was 50 x box-steps, 50 burpees, 50 Mountain Climbers, abs and some easy jogging.
Gorgeous weather, proper clothing (it is windy!), a bottle of water and woop woop!
I still haven't managed to drag my a$$ out of bed at 6.45am for a one hour run on the deck 7-8am. New try tomorrow!
You never know, I might like it?!

HIT has really paid off

Now I truly notice that HIT workouts have made a difference. I walked 3 km + jogged 3 km today. It was sunny, a bit windy but quite hot in the sun. Earlier jogging in sunshine has been horrible for me, I've been avoiding it as much as possible. 
Dragging my overweight around in the sun has been a pain.
Not today. 
It was surprisingly easy to jog the 3 km home from the cemetery.
HIT workouts have made a difference.
Woo hoo! 
If things go as I have planned then it's HIT inspired workout at the gym tomorrow before going to the archipelago with good friends.

Cross training!

Thursday was HIT-inspired strength training. 50 burpees, 50 Mountain Climbers, 50 box steps, and abs!!
Today was cross training day. 45 minutes indoors cycling and 2 kilometres indoor rowing.
We'll see what tomorrow will bring!

Cardio Sunday

Sunday was Cardio Sunday at the Grace crew gym. 30 minutes of 1 minute walk-1 minute run-intervals on the treadmill with 2 incline + 20 minutes of tabata on the rowing machine!

On Monday morning I'm doing something I've never done before: I'm going to the helicopter deck for a workout before I go to work! It shouldn't be that windy.
